Update (2025-11-22, 07:20) - Preparation work for data migration is starting.

Info (2025-10-28, 10:25) - The hardware for the D-ITET project account and archive storage (ocean/bluebay/lagoon) must be replaced with a new system.

For the migration from current system to a new one, a downtime of the aforementioned services is scheduled for Saturday, November 22, 2025 (starting from 08:00h).

We expect services being available again later in the afternoon, but in the event of unexpected issues, it might take longer.

All connections between the project and archive storage and ISG-managed Linux and Windows clients (e.g. personal clients, Tardis clients and Compute nodes) will be disconnected. User homes are not affected by the migration.

Please save all your data before the maintenance window starts. While you might continue working during the migration with data stored in your private user home, we highly recommend you to log out of your client session latest on Friday evening (November 21), especially if you don’t need your computer over the weekend. Furthermore, disconnect all external storage devices from managed clients, e.g. USB sticks or USB disks in case we will need to force reboot a client.

Please note that other services, primarily the CPU/GPU Slurm clusters, self-service portal, cronbox and some websites will also be unavailable during the downtime.
